Pastor Michael D. Young is a native of Pensacola, Florida, a conservative city in Florida’s Panhandle. Growing up, Pastor Mike never considered himself to be a leader; however, other plans were in store for him. At an early age, Pastor Mike dreamed of owning and operating a business. Pastor Mike inherited an entrepreneurial spirit as his grandfather was one of Pensacola’s First African American lounge bar owners and operators.
Pastor Mike’s attraction to Architecture and Drafting in high school lead to his pursuit of additional education in Architecture and Construction industry at the University of Florida. After three years of Architectural studies, Pastor Mike completed his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management in December 1997.
Pastor Mike is a leader in the marketplace and ministry and began his ministerial call on May 21, 1995, when his Great Uncle, Dr. James S. Young ordained him as a pastor. Since then, he has coached hundreds of rising Christian leaders through JourneyTM, a Christian Education and Leadership Program.
Pastor Mike proudly serves as a satellite campus pastor of The Kingdom Church, Inc., with a location in the heart of Kissimmee, FL. Pastor Mike is known as a church planter through several church launches and continues to support the strategic initiatives and growth of TKC beginning in 2009.
Pastor Mike has been a licensed Certified General Contractor since 2000. He currently qualifies ACY Contractors, LLC and HT Construction & Renovations, Inc. with his contractor’s license. Pastor Mike owns and operates ACY Contractors, a full-service commercial construction firm, providing start-to-finish services since 2004. Additionally, Pastor Mike is a successful business coach, helping many contractors and business owners to grow and expand their businesses.
Pastor Mike is married to Dr. Felicia C. Young, who has been influential in his success. They have four children, Malachi, Gabriel, Jordan, and Olivia, one granddaughter, Chleo, and two grandsons, Asher and Malachi, Jr.

Dr. Felicia C. Young, DBA was born and raised in Orlando, FL to Marvin O. and Corinne C. Johnson. As a native of Orlando, Dr. Young graduated from Edgewater High School.
As a young child, Dr. Young was an active member of Greater St. Paul AME Church, Orlando, and served as Sunday School secretary for many years. Dr. Young was also a member of the Young People Division (YPD) of the AME Church, which focused on growing young, successful leaders, in a safe Christian environment.
Dr. Young holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) degree from the University of Phoenix, which she completed her dissertation research study on: Gender and the Environmental Nexus Surrounding Success of Central Florida Women Entrepreneurs. Dr. Young also received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, double majoring in Management and Marketing, from The Florida State University. During her time at Florida State, Dr. Young was a member of the World-Renowned FSU Marching Chiefs, where she played clarinet.
Dr. Young is Vice President at ACY Contractors, LLC (ACY) a general contractor and construction manager headquartered in Orlando, FL, which she helps leads with her husband, Michael D. Young. Dr. Young and her husband also has a business coaching company, which helps entrepreneurs grow and develop their businesses. Dr. Young is a member of Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business and Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Service Sorority.
Dr. Young has been married to Pastor Mike, since August 2009. They share a beautiful daughter, Olivia Simone Corinne Young. She also has three stepsons: Malachi, Gabriel, and Jordan. In her spare time, Dr. Young loves traveling to different Caribbean Islands, attending Florida State University football games (a die-hard alumni/fan), and spending time with family.
