THE HISTORY OF THE KINGDOM CHURCH, INC.
The Kingdom Church, Inc. (TKC), located in West Orlando, FL, has been greatly recognized for featuring a vibrant and energetic congregation who loves to worship in the presence of God. With a simple mission statement: To Enlighten, Empower and Encourage, or what we call the triple-e mission of the church, TKC is dedicated to transforming communities through spiritual transformation, neighboring & international outreach, and educational advancement. Under the inspiring leadership of Senior Pastor, David S. Jacques and Lady Karen Jacques, the aspiration of TKC is to incorporate its triple-e mission into all aspects of the church and its members.

OUR BIBLICAL CONVICTIONS
The Kingdom Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing, Spirit-empowered church. This statement
summarizes the core biblical convictions that shape our faith, worship, discipleship, ministry, and
mission.

01 THE SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in its message and fully authoritative for faith,
doctrine, and Christian living. Scripture reveals God’s truth, His plan of salvation, and His will for humanity and
remains the Church’s final standard for belief and practice.

02 THE TRIUNE GOD
We believe in one true and living God, eternal and sovereign, who exists in three distinct Persons: Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, holy, loving, and worthy of all worship.

03 HUMANITY AND THE FALL
We believe humanity was created in the image of God and for relationship with Him. Through human sin, that
relationship was broken, bringing spiritual and physical death and leaving every person in need of God’s saving
grace.

04 JESUS CHRIST AND SALVATION
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose
bodily from the dead, and is the only way of salvation. Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through
repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—not earned by human works.

05 THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and actively present in the life of every believer from the moment of
salvation. We also believe believers should continually seek to be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit for
holy living, bold witness, effective ministry, and service. We affirm the present-day operation of spiritual gifts,
including tongues, while not teaching that speaking in tongues is required as evidence of salvation or of
possessing the Holy Spirit.

06 REPENTANCE AND FAITH
We believe the proper response to the gospel is repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. By the work
of the Holy Spirit, we turn from sin, trust Christ as Savior and Lord, and begin a new life of following Him.

07 THE NEW BIRTH AND EVIDENCE OF SALVATION
We believe salvation produces new life. The Holy Spirit bears witness that we belong to God, and genuine faith
increasingly produces the character, obedience, love, and holiness of Christ in the believer’s life.

08 SANCTIFICATION
We believe sanctification is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit by which believers are increasingly conformed to
the character of Christ. Through Scripture, prayer, worship, obedience, Christian community, self-denial, and
the Spirit’s power, believers grow in holiness throughout their lives.

09 SECURITY AND PERSEVERANCE OF THE BELIEVER
We believe God is faithful to keep those who truly belong to Christ. Genuine believers are called to continue in
faith and obedience, and their perseverance is evidence of God’s saving work within them.

10 THE CHURCH AND WORSHIP
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all who have placed their faith in Jesus. Believers are
called to gather regularly for worship, biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, communion, service, generosity, and
mission. The local church exists to glorify God, make disciples, love people, and advance the gospel in its
community and throughout the world.

11 WATER BAPTISM
We believe water baptism is the public declaration of a believer’s faith in Jesus Christ. Following repentance
and faith, believers are baptized by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
identifying with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

12 HOLY COMMUNION
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a sacred remembrance of Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death and a proclamation of
His saving work until He returns. In receiving the bread and the cup, the Church remembers Christ, examines
itself, celebrates the new covenant, and anticipates His return.

13 SPIRITUAL GIFTS AND PROPHECY
We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to believers according to His will for the building up of the Church
and the advancement of God’s mission. We believe these gifts continue to operate today. Prophecy and every
other spiritual gift must operate in love, order, humility, and submission to Scripture, and should strengthen,
encourage, and comfort the Church.

14 DIVINE HEALING
We believe God heals and that the Church should pray in faith for the sick. Healing is an expression of God’s
grace and sovereign power and may occur through miraculous intervention, ordinary means, or medical care.
Our confidence remains in God’s wisdom and goodness whether healing is immediate, progressive, or
ultimately fulfilled in the resurrection.

15 SPIRITUAL WARFARE AND DELIVERANCE
We believe Jesus Christ has authority over Satan and every power of darkness. Through Christ’s finished work,
believers can walk in freedom and resist the enemy through repentance, truth, prayer, Scripture, faith, and the
power of the Holy Spirit. Ministry involving deliverance should be conducted biblically, prayerfully, responsibly,
and under appropriate spiritual leadership.

16 CHRISTIAN HOLINESS AND CONDUCT
We believe followers of Jesus are called to honor God in every area of life. Our speech, relationships, sexuality,
appearance, conduct, and use of our bodies should reflect holiness, modesty, wisdom, love, and the
transforming work of Christ rather than conformity to the values of the world.

17 MARRIAGE AND SEXUALITY
We believe God established marriage as a covenant union between one man and one woman, designed for
lifelong faithfulness, mutual love and support, family, and the reflection of Christ’s covenant love. We believe
sexual intimacy is God’s gift for marriage and that followers of Christ are called to sexual purity. We also believe
the Church must uphold biblical truth while treating every person with dignity, compassion, and love.

18 MARRIAGE, DIVORCE, AND RESTORATION
We believe God’s design for marriage is lifelong covenant faithfulness. Scripture recognizes that sin can
tragically fracture marriages, including through sexual immorality and abandonment. The Church should pursue
reconciliation whenever it is wise and possible, while responding to divorce and remarriage with biblical
faithfulness, pastoral wisdom, compassion, safety, and a commitment to restoration.

19 STEWARDSHIP, FINANCE, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
We believe God is the ultimate owner of all things and entrusts people with resources, abilities, ideas, and
opportunities to steward for His glory. Money is a tool, not a master, and believers are called to manage it with
wisdom, integrity, generosity, contentment, and faith. We believe entrepreneurship, business, investing, and
wealth creation can be God-honoring expressions of creativity, stewardship, service, and work when pursued
ethically and submitted to biblical principles. Prosperity is not the measure of faith, nor is wealth an end in itself;
rather, God-given increase should expand our capacity to provide for our families, create opportunity, serve
others, support the Church, care for those in need, and advance God’s Kingdom. We teach tithing as a biblical
pattern and starting point for disciplined generosity while emphasizing that New Testament giving is willing,
cheerful, sacrificial, and generous.

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. There will be a resurrection of the dead and final
judgment. Those who are in Christ will enjoy eternal life in God’s presence, and God will ultimately make all
things new. This hope calls the Church to faithful, holy, and mission-minded living.

TRIPLE E-MISSION
Since the ministry’s inception on January 13, 2008, the emphasis of the church has been on strengthening its members by exhibiting the triple-e mission. Each month we encourage our members by showing God’s love through giveaways and being a financial blessing to those in need. We empower members by offering workshops. These workshops range from financial freedom & becoming debt free, to how to successfully purchase and own a home. Most importantly, we the mind, body, and spirit of our members through teaching the word of God
THE BEGINNING
TKC started out in a humble 2,800 square foot storefront location. With only a small 30-day window before the inaugural service, the church needed nearly $17,000 to complete renovations. Through the fervent prayers and the financial support of the community, the Lord faithfully brought in all the necessary finances to open the church doors on that glorious day. Within the first thriving year of ministry, TKC experienced a tremendous growth and was blessed to purchase 4.5 acres of land in the Central Florida area. The second year of ministry proved to be even greater for TKC. As the church continued to grow at a rapid rate, the Lord continued to bless this ministry even more. As such, the church was able to move into their second location, which was twice the size of the previous facility. Additionally, during the same year, TKC was able to purchase their second property — 9.6 acres of land. Through the goodness of God’s work and His people, this land was quickly paid off on June 30, 2013.
THE GROWTH
In 2011, God continued to do great things for the ministry allowing TKC to move into their third facility, which was over 22,000 square feet. This was a tremendous blessing for this young ministry in Central Florida. This property housed a large sanctuary, pastoral and staff offices, a fellowship hall, a children/youth wing, and a separate wing for daycare services.
GOD'S CONTINUED FAVOR
In 2016, God continued to show his abundance of love, to those who obey Him, by presenting TKC the opportunity to purchase an even greater location. Our newest location, consisting of 5 acres on North Nowell Street, took on a massive renovation, and the grand opening service was held Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016. This location allows the ministry of TKC to still be able to influence and minister to the Pine Hills Community in West Orlando, FL.
OUR OTHER CAMPUSES
With Senior Pastor David being of Haitian descent, TKC launched The Kingdom Church Creole (TKCC) in March 2012, under Associate Pastor Henock Jean-Francois. TKCC was designed to be the “next generation” Haitian church in Orlando, with desires to frame and minister to the vast Haitian population in the community. TKCC is now headed by Associate Pastor David Pironneau.
In March 2013, The Kingdom Church expanded its reach even further into the Central Florida region by launching The Kingdom Church South (TKCS) in Orlando, Florida. Under the direction of Associate Pastor Michael D. Young, TKCS first service was held in a local middle school cafeteria. Within eight months of this new ministry, TKCS moved their location into a Seventh Day Adventist Church, where they were able to rent this facility on Sunday mornings. After two years of renting, TKCS was extraordinarily blessed to be able to purchase their own property in March 2015. The sanctuary and offices were completely renovated within three weeks, and TKCS celebrated their first service in their own building on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015.In January 2019, we will be relaunching TKCS to become The Kingdom Church Holden Heights (TKCHH) and will be under the direction of Associate Pastor David L. Outing.</p>
<p class="p1">On Resurrection Sunday 2019, we launched TKC Kissimmee and Associate Pastor Michael D. Young relocated from TKCHH to lead this campus.</p>
