Day 1 Recap - A Willing Spirit
As I reflect on Ash Wednesday and the reality of being a “Spiritual” bein having a “Human”/ fleshly experience, the battle of Spirit vs Flesh is daily. Distractions and worldly influences can be loud.
I keep myself encouraged with Psalms 51:12
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me. Maturing for me starts with being Willing
Willing to walk by faith not sight
Willing to acknowledge God in all my ways
Willing fight my flesh daily
Willing to return to God not run or hide in shame.
