Day 20 – The More Excellent Way

Family 🤍

Today we read one of the most well known passages in Scripture, but it still challenges us deeply.

Paul reminds us that gifts, knowledge, and activity mean very little if love is missing.

Love is patient.

Love is kind.

Love does not insist on its own way.

Week 4

Be sure to refresh and you will see Week 4: The Measure of Maturity This season we did the journey by weeks. So you’ll notice the all Saturday’s are missing. We use them as weekly reflection days here in our group. For those who are new to the 40 Days Lent journey, Sundays aren’t included in the 40. Each Sunday is what is known as “mini” Easter’s. We use Sundays as points of reflection and connection!

Keep At It

We are halfway there! Just want to encourage you to be steadfast on the journey.

I’m curious to know what you have given up for Lent. I did a number of items that I felt had a hold of me: candy, sodas, fried food, no processed foods, chips and snacks….added more prayer time, exercise, additional devotional time…just to name a few things.

What about you all?

Day 17 – Many Gifts, One Body

Comparison weakens connection. Belonging strengthens it.

You are not extra. You are not insignificant. You are not self sufficient either.

We are one body.

Whose gift in this church has strengthened you?

Tag them. Affirm them. Encourage them.

Let’s normalize honoring the gifts around us. When one is strengthened, we all are.

Day 16 – Honor in Worship and Relationships

Good morning.

Maturity shows up in how we honor God and how we honor people.

How we approach worship matters.

How we speak to one another matters.

Is there anywhere your tone, posture, or approach needs realignment?

Before you respond in any conversation today, pause and ask, Does this reflect honor?

Day 15 – Learning Together

Family 🤍

Spiritual privilege does not equal spiritual maturity.

Paul reminds us to learn from the past so we do not repeat what harms us or the community.

What is one lesson God has already taught you that you need to revisit?

Humility keeps us steady. Reflection keeps us growing.

Share one lesson you refuse to forget.

Day 14 – Discipline for the Sake of Others

Good morning family.

Mature faith understands that not every right has to be exercised.

Paul talks about discipline, restraint, and living with intention. Growth doesn’t happen by accident.

What is one small discipline you’re committing to this week?
