Introduction
Wisdom and discernment are essential for living in alignment with God’s will. In a world full of distractions, conflicting messages, and difficult choices, we need divine guidance to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence.
The Bible reminds us that God gives wisdom generously to those who ask (James 1:5). When we trust in divine wisdom rather than our own understanding, we are led in the right direction. This week, we focus on seeking more wisdom and discernment in every area of our lives—our decisions, relationships, patience, and ability to recognize God’s voice.
As we grow in wisdom, we align ourselves with God’s perfect plan. We begin to experience deeper peace in our choices and greater clarity in our steps. Let’s open our hearts and minds to receive divine wisdom, trusting that with each decision, we are being guided toward what is best.

Day 22: Seeking God’s Wisdom
Scripture: James 1:5 – "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
Devotional:
Wisdom is a gift from God, freely given to those who seek it. It’s more than just intelligence or knowledge—it’s the ability to apply divine truth to everyday life. Too often, we rely on our own understanding or seek advice from the world, but true wisdom comes from above. God wants us to walk in wisdom, making choices that align with a greater purpose.
Seeking wisdom requires humility. It means admitting that we don’t have all the answers and that we need divine guidance. We cultivate wisdom by praying, studying Scripture, and surrounding ourselves with wise, faith-filled counsel. When we seek wisdom, we gain clarity, avoid unnecessary mistakes, and walk in confidence, knowing we are being led in the right direction.
Are you seeking God’s wisdom in every area of your life? Pause today and ask for guidance—God is always ready to give it generously.
Prayer:
God, I seek Your wisdom in all that I do. Guide my thoughts, decisions, and actions so that they align with Your will. Help me to trust in Your direction and not lean on my own understanding. Amen.
Action Step:
Identify one area in your life where you need wisdom. Pray specifically for guidance, and spend time in Scripture, trusting that wisdom will come as you seek it.

Sunday March 30th
A Day for celebration and connection
Sundays are not included in the 40-day devotional, as they are set apart for worship, reflection, and receiving God’s Word. Use this time to engage in Sunday service, meditate on the message, and seek God’s presence.
Day 23: More Discernment in Decisions
Scripture: Proverbs 3:6 – "In all your ways submit to God, and your path will be made straight."
Devotional:
Every day, we face decisions—some small, some life-changing. Discernment is the ability to recognize the difference between what is simply good and what is truly best, between what aligns with God’s will and what does not. It requires more than just logic, emotions, or outside opinions; it requires a surrendered heart that trusts in divine wisdom.
God promises to guide us when we submit our decisions to divine direction. But how often do we rush into choices without pausing to seek clarity? True discernment comes when we take time to pray, look to Scripture, and wait for peace before moving forward. If a decision aligns with God’s truth and draws you closer to the purpose set before you, you can move forward with confidence.
Are you facing an important decision right now? Pause and ask: Does this choice align with God’s Word? Will it bring me closer to God’s purpose? When we seek wisdom first, we are led down the right path every time.
Prayer:
God, grant me discernment to make choices that align with Your will. Help me to hear Your voice clearly and trust in Your direction. Give me the patience to wait on Your wisdom. Amen.
Action Step:
Think of a decision you are currently facing. Take time to pray, read Scripture, and seek wise counsel before moving forward. Trust that clarity will come in the process.

Day 24: Aligning with God’s Will
Scripture: Romans 8:28 – "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love God, who have been called according to divine purpose."
Devotional:
God’s will isn’t always immediately clear, but we can trust that everything is working together for our good. It’s natural to wrestle with uncertainty, wondering if we’re on the right path. But when we align our hearts with God’s purpose, we find peace, knowing that we are being guided—even when we don’t see the full picture.
Aligning with God’s will requires trust and obedience. Sometimes, it means letting go of our own plans in exchange for something greater. It may not always be easy, and challenges may arise, but each moment is shaping us for something meaningful.
Are you willing to believe that God’s plan is better than your own? Surrendering doesn’t mean giving up—it means stepping into something even greater. Trust that whatever you release, God will replace with something far better.
Prayer:
God, I surrender my plans to You. Help me to trust in Your perfect will, knowing that You are always working for my good. Give me the faith to walk forward, even when I can’t see the whole path. Amen.
Action Step:
Write down an area of your life where you struggle to trust God’s plan. Pray over it, then take a step of surrender—whether that means releasing control, changing your perspective, or simply choosing to trust today.

Day 25: More Patience, More Growth
Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1 – "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."
Devotional:
Patience is one of the hardest virtues to develop, yet it’s essential for spiritual growth. In a world that thrives on instant gratification, waiting on God’s timing can feel frustrating. But Scripture reminds us that everything has a season, and real growth takes time.
Think of a seed—it must be planted, watered, and nurtured before it produces fruit. The same is true for us. We go through seasons of preparation, pruning, and refinement before stepping into the fullness of what God has planned.
Impatience can lead us to rush decisions or doubt God’s promises. But God is never in a hurry. The waiting season isn’t wasted—it’s where character is built, faith is strengthened, and wisdom is developed. If you’ve been feeling restless, wondering when things will fall into place, take heart. God is working behind the scenes, orchestrating everything for your good.
Instead of resisting the waiting season, lean into it. Trust that whatever is ahead will be worth the wait.
Prayer:
God, help me to be patient in every season of my life. Strengthen my trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that You are always at work for my good. Teach me to wait with faith and expectancy, believing that what You have for me is greater than I can imagine. Amen.
Action Step:
Identify an area in your life where you feel impatient. Pray for peace and wisdom, and remind yourself that God’s timing is always best. Look for ways to grow and learn in this season rather than rushing through it.

Day 26: More Wisdom in Relationships
Scripture: Proverbs 13:20 – "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm."
Devotional:
The people we surround ourselves with have a powerful influence on our spiritual journey. Proverbs reminds us that walking with the wise leads to wisdom, but keeping company with the foolish can lead to harm. Our relationships—whether friendships, mentorships, or business partnerships—can either strengthen our faith or pull us away from God’s purpose.
Godly relationships encourage growth, accountability, and maturity. A wise friend will challenge you, pray for you, and push you closer to your purpose. On the other hand, unhealthy relationships can introduce negativity, weaken your convictions, and distract you from what truly matters.
Take a moment to reflect—are your relationships leading you toward wisdom and faith? If not, it may be time to set boundaries or make changes. And just as you seek wisdom in others, consider how you can be a source of encouragement and truth for those around you. Healthy, God-aligned relationships are a blessing—seek them, nurture them, and be that kind of friend to others.
Prayer:
God, give me wisdom in my relationships. Surround me with people who inspire and challenge me in faith. Help me to be a source of wisdom, encouragement, and love to those in my life. Remove any relationships that are not aligned with Your will, and guide me toward friendships that bring You glory. Amen.
Action Step:
Reflect on your closest relationships. Are they helping you grow spiritually? If needed, set healthy boundaries with those who hinder your faith and intentionally invest in deeper connections with those who encourage and uplift you.

Day 27: Hearing God’s Voice Clearly
Scripture: John 10:27 – "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me."
Devotional:
One of the deepest desires of a believer is to hear God’s voice clearly. But in a world filled with distractions, noise, and competing voices, it can be difficult to discern when God is speaking. Yet, Jesus assures us that those who belong to Him recognize His voice. God is always speaking—the real question is, are we listening?
Hearing God’s voice requires intentional effort. We must make space for stillness and cultivate a lifestyle of prayer, worship, and studying Scripture. The more time we spend in His presence, the more familiar His voice becomes. Sometimes, God speaks through His Word, a gentle whisper, a sermon, a conversation, or even through circumstances. He makes His direction clear when we seek Him earnestly.
Are you creating space in your life to hear from God? Silence the noise today, lean in, and listen. God desires to guide you—you just need to tune in.
Prayer:
God, open my ears to hear Your voice clearly. Remove distractions and help me to be sensitive to Your leading. Guide my steps so that I may walk in obedience to Your direction.
Amen.
Action Step:
Set aside at least 10 minutes of quiet time today. Ask God to speak to you, and write down anything He impresses upon your heart.

Day 28: Choosing God’s Path
Scripture: Isaiah 30:21 – "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’"
Devotional:
Life is full of crossroads—moments where we must choose between our way and God’s way. The decisions we make shape our journey and determine our direction. But God has promised that when we seek guidance, He will show us the right path. The challenge is that choosing God’s way often requires faith, especially when it contradicts our own desires, expectations, or what the world tells us is best.
God’s path isn’t always the easiest, but it is always the best. When we follow divine direction, we walk in peace, purpose, and protection. Even when the road feels uncertain, we can trust that we are being led exactly where we need to be.
Are you at a crossroads in your life? Take a moment to pause, pray, and listen. God is always speaking—guiding, directing, and confirming. Trust His voice, step forward in faith, and know that His path leads to life.
Prayer:
God, I choose to follow Your path, even when it is difficult or unclear. Lead me in the way I should go, and help me trust in Your direction above my own. Give me the courage to walk in faith. Amen.
Action Step:
Reflect on an area of your life where you need to make a decision. Seek God’s guidance through prayer and Scripture, and take a step forward in faith, trusting that you are being led in the right direction.
